I had seen these fields of color for years, driving down Highway 5 on my way in and out of San Diego County. Finally, Mom and I stopped to tour the attraction. The Frazee Family has been farming this beautiful piece of land just above the Pacific Ocean in Carlsbad for generations. They grow the flowers for the seeds, and in the process, have tours of the blooming terraced land for the public to enjoy. In addition, they had several hot house exhibits of Orchids, Pointsettias, as well as live demonstrations involving other plants and flowers. It was only $10 for an adult ticket, and $5 for the tractor narrated tour through the fields. The meetings were at the Convention Center, and Hillcrest House Bed &amp; Breakfast, was full of Medical Professionals from Canada and the USA. No pictured are Dr. Stephen Jennings and his wife, Becky RN from Illinois. The conversation at the breakfast table each morning was very interesting. Every seat is a good view of the Bat &amp; Ball action. Tim and I had to swallow our pride to a loss, in the Padres first game, of a 3 game series. They came back and won the next two games, keeping their 1st place standing in the National League West. What a one of a kind experience of touring San Diego's beautiful Downtown Gaslamp Quarter, Petco Baseball Park, Seaport Village and San Diego Bay !
